The Plantae

This is a free app with no ads, with educational purposes to help people learn more than 33.000 kinds of plants. We are proud to be the 2 Vietnamese developers under 18 years old who created The Plantae and AuroraAI.

The Plantae app uses image recognition technology and artificial intelligence to identify plants. Simply take a picture of a plant with your phone's camera, and the app will compare it to its database of up to 33,000 plants. If the app finds a match, it will provide you with the plant's common name, description, scientific classification, toxicity, features, functions, similar images and other information. We use cutting-edge methods of machine learning and train custom deep convolutional neural networks to ensure the best possible results. We estimate that we get the plant name right 90% of the time.

Thanks to image recognition technology and artificial intelligence, The Plantae is and will change the field of plant recognition. Plants database covers the world and can provide immediate results including scientific classification, characteristics, and pharmacological properties (if any) of plants, especially medicinal plants. The Plantae recognizes many types of plants or plants that humans encounter, helping people identify plants easily. Since then, The Plantae provides more information for users about that plant. The application has many important new features that make it easier for users to find information about plants. With optimizations for the Vietnamese market, The Plantae will enable everyone from students to those interested in plants to learn quickly and conveniently.
The Plantae has been successful in assisting the user in identifying plants and in addition providing more information to the user about that plant species. Some features including optimal recognition system, providing a lot of information, being able to share plant information with others, sorting by categories, searching for plants also more convenient and useful for users.

When it comes to identifying cacti, this app may not be the very best, but it is far, far better than most. Download it to have a second opinion when your favourite app is struggling to identify a cactus. App seems to have a large database of cacti, including a lot of lesser known genera, and it seems largely uncontaminated by falsely identified additions from users. All in all it's well worth a download. If it's not your goto app, it should certainly be your backup.

The first time i downloaded the app, it does't work but then, i got notified that the developer responded to my review saying that they have a maintainance issue, then i tried again to download the app, and that it!! I've just tried with some plants in my house and surprised with the rapidity and accuracy of the answers. They have some brief information with the map showing the origin of plants. Besides, the app already has information of some popular plants for beginners to research, and also some tips using plants as medicines. Highly recommended!

The Plantae app uses image recognition technology and artificial intelligence to identify plants. The Plantae app can identify up to 33,000 different plants from all over the world. This includes houseplants, garden plants, trees, weeds, fungi, and lichens.

1. Open The Plantae app.
2. Take a picture of a plant with your phone's camera.
3. The app will identify the plant and provide you with information about it.

We use cutting-edge methods of machine learning and train custom deep convolutional neural networks to ensure the best possible results. We estimate that we get the plant name right 90% of the time.
However, it is important to note that the app's accuracy may depend on the quality of the photo you take.

You can check the accuracy of the results to determine whether they are reliable and try another scan.
You can also report erroneous results by pressing the disapproval button (thumb down icon).
If The Plantae app cannot identify a plant, you can try taking a clearer photo or trying a different angle.
You can also contact us for assistance.

The Plantae is free to download and use with up to 10 scans per day, but will limit some advanced features.
You can upgrade to Premium for only $1.99 per month.

1. Open The Plantae app.
2. Tap on the The Plantae text or AuroraAI text.
3. Scroll down to the bottom of the page.
4. Tap on the Donate button.
5. Choose the amount you want to support the project, any option will upgrade to the Premium version.
6. Enter your payment information and tap on “Buy”.

The Plantae app is available for Android devices.
In the future there will be a web app version to access on any device

Currently, the large number of concurrent users leads to a situation that sometimes causes server overload.
Please try to clear the app data, reinstall it or continue to wait patiently till the next day.

We are currently aware of a small number of users' devices experiencing an error that could not establish a connection to our server because their device was not up to standard. Try again on another device of yours or your friends.

You should be aware that there are certain things that DST Team Developers will not take responsibility for. Certain functions of the app will require the app to have an active internet connection. The connection can be Wi-Fi or provided by your mobile network provider, but DST Team Developers cannot take responsibility for the app not working at full functionality if you don’t have access to Wi-Fi, and you don’t have any of your data allowance left.

If you’re using the app outside of an area with Wi-Fi, you should remember that the terms of the agreement with your mobile network provider will still apply. As a result, you may be charged by your mobile provider for the cost of data for the duration of the connection while accessing the app, or other third-party charges. In using the app, you’re accepting responsibility for any such charges, including roaming data charges if you use the app outside of your home territory (i.e. region or country) without turning off data roaming. If you are not the bill payer for the device on which you’re using the app, please be aware that we assume that you have received permission from the bill payer for using the app.
